Leros is located at the northern part of the Dodecanese island complex in the south-eastern Aegean. It is a verdant island with pristine beaches, of 55 square km with a coast length of 71km and a population of approx. 8,000 residents. It is among the genuine Greek islands which has been spared by the mass tourism and big developments. It remains a smalll heaven greatly appreciated by visitors who come back over and over again, for its local colour, its natural beauty and the charm of its distinguished old neo-classical houses.

Leros is reached from Athens daily by plane (45 mn) as well as from the Kos and Rhodes airports and by ferry-boat from Piraeus (8 h). During the season, hydrofoils connect Leros to all neighbouring islands.

A charming partly-renovated old stone house of 74m2 set on a beautiful flat piece of land of 3,000 m2 with yard and lovely open country views. The house has been renovated in its major part and the works which remain to be executed are the installation of flooring, doors and windows, sanitary and kitchen which are estimated at approx. 18,000€.

The ground floor has been planned to contain a lounge with sleeping area, a wc and a kitchen while the upper floor a big bedroom and a bathroom. There is a large ground floor terrasse and a balcony.

There is building permit which allows the construction of additional 25m2 adjacent to the house. However, should it be desired, it is possible to build more on the land and thus expand even further.

The large piece of land surrounded by low stone walling will easily accommodate the creation of a swimming-pool.
